This article is about how representative diana wants to pass a stem cell research bill. She basically feels that her bill will be passed seeing as to how it really doesn't have a negative affect. Some argued that it has something to do with abortion which is concerning her. Although stem cell research has nothing to do with abortion she has too get the other members of congress to understand that as well so that she can get their vote and then her bill will become law.
This relates to the constitution because you can tell that when legislative wants to have their bill passed they need votes. This also demonstrates checks and balances because if there were no checks and balances she could've made her bill a law without going through all the extra stuff to convince the other members that her bill is worth being passed.
I believe that her bill should become a law because it is just a research. No one is stopping anything from happening or anything in that nature. I know for sure that her bill doesn't deserve much attention because it doesn't seem very important to me. I personally do not see the advantage we as people are going to get with her bill. Therefore it should just be passed so that maybe just maybe her bill might turn out to save some lives.
