Barack Obama cites GOP ‘game playing’

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0910/42308.html

This article is about how Obama is accusing the republicans for pushing back the nominations of the judicial judges. Apparently the Senate do not believe that having these nominations are important so they decided to push the election aside. Obama on the other hand feels that it is necessary to have and is taking it slightly personal. The government is starting to feel that it doesn't really matter, but Obama refuses to let this just go by. [Go Obama! =D.]

Once again this article goes deeper in on how it is to be in the judicial and executive branch. The judicial branch doesn't seem to be as important to the people in government compared to how it is put in the constitution. I say this because of the fact that the republican Senate are just pushing their election day further back.  The executive branch doesn't seem to have much say which is clear in the constitution, but this article also demonstrates that seeing as to how Obama can't have control over the election date.

I believe that the government is just acting very childish once again. If there is supposed to be an election held for more judicial judges then just have the election and get it over with instead of just having all of this unnecessary drama roaming the halls of the white house. If they can just put the fact that they dislike each other or the fact that they represent two different parties then it wouldn't be such a hassle to get things taken care of.

  1. Eboni--The articles you chose for blogs 7-12 look great and I think the blog itself looks very historian-ish!

Your analyses are a bit lacking though. For example, in this blog:

    1. Where's your constitutional connection? I know you have one--what is it?
    2. Since when do federal judges get elected?
    3. Why are Republicans blocking Obama's judges?
    4. And this is true of all your blogs--proofread, proofread, proofread!

Score for 7-12 is: 47/60. Please see me if you wish to revise any!
