Gov. candidates in 20 states endorse anti-immigration laws

This article presses the issue of illegal immigrants. The members of congress are not all taking this issue serious according to this article. Manu of the states are beginning to take the illegal immigrant problem in their own hands. Using Arizona as their inspiration states are starting to come up with ways that limit the health care, food, living space, and jobs for those who cannot prove that they are legal citizens. They feel as if their taxpayers are not paying for illegal immigrants and that in order to unsure that the money is benefiting the people who pay they need to eliminate those who don't belong.  States understand that congress will soon be trying to sue  them, but they feel as if their reasoning is so powerful that they will be able to handle the issue just fine.

This relates to the constitution because it gives a negative look on congress. Congress is supposed to be checking to make sure no other group gets in power while also making laws that benefit the people. If we have two senate and over a couple house members in each state then they should be aware of the issues and should be making laws to help the people in their state. Based on this article congress isn't doing a very good job if they have  not notice the rise of illegal immigrants entering their specific state.

I believe that their should be more checks to make sure people are legal. There is no reason why we should be taxed just to benefit illegal immigrants who probably don't even pay taxes. If there are places where people can become legal immigrants than they should take the classes and stop being so lazy! Illegal immigrants do not deserve to be in America. Congress should definitely do something about this problem before it gets too far out of hand.
